One-Day Programme

Bheem Gyan Charcha

A simple, powerful one-day knowledge programme that takes Babasaheb’s message and the light of knowledge directly to people — in villages, colonies, schools and community spaces.

What is Bheem Gyan Charcha?

Bheem Gyan Charcha is a one-day knowledge and discussion programme organised by Bheem Gyan Charcha Association (BGCA). It is designed to be simple, accessible and close to the people. There is no need for a big hall, stage or special arrangements. Wherever 20 to 200 people can sit together — on a cloth spread on the floor, with a few chairs if available — a Bheem Gyan Charcha can take place.

Trained members of the Association (usually 2 to 6) go to the location and share knowledge related to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, other great leaders and social reformers, Gautam Buddha and Buddhism, and the values of equality, education and social awakening. The programme is interactive, respectful and focused on learning.

How the Programme Works

👥
Gathering size Approximately 20 to 200 people. Suitable for small and medium local gatherings.
🪑
Simple arrangement People sit on a cloth laid on the floor. Available chairs can be used. No special stage or decoration required.
📖
Trained team 2 to 6 trained members from BGCA visit the location and conduct the programme.
Easy to organise: Because no special arrangements are needed, Bheem Gyan Charcha can be held in a courtyard, community space, school ground, colony park or any simple venue where people can sit and listen together.

What is Shared in the Programme

The team speaks in a simple and clear manner on subjects that awaken knowledge and inspire social awareness. Topics typically include:

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jyotiba Phule Savitribai Phule Periyar Kanshiram Sahuji Maharaj Kabir Gautam Buddha & Buddhism

The aim is not only to give information, but to encourage people to think, discuss and carry the knowledge forward in their own lives and communities.

Special Focus on Children

During and after the programme, a few children are encouraged to speak in front of the gathering. This builds their confidence and gives them a chance to express what they have understood. As a mark of encouragement, children are given books, pens and other useful gifts.

In this way, Bheem Gyan Charcha becomes not only a programme of listening, but also a space where the next generation begins to find its voice.

Knowledge is Meant to be Shared

Participants are encouraged to share the teachings and knowledge they receive with others — in their family, neighbourhood, workplace and community. The true success of a Bheem Gyan Charcha is not only the gathering of that day, but the quiet spread of awareness that continues afterwards.
